Rob DeSotle graduated from Paul Smith's College with a Bachelor's degree in Forestry. He has 8 years collectively working in this field and has helped manage forested ecosystems throughout California. Rob started DG Environmental after seeing the aftermath of the 2019-2021 wildfire seasons and the collapse of the timber market which have combined to leave landowners with large expenses when managing and cleaning up their lands. Rob's vision is to provide honest stewardship advice and grant-funded project design, implementation, and oversite so landowners can rebuild and reforest their properties without breaking the bank.
Rob is a California Registered Professional Forester, an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist and TRAQ Certified Arborist.
My name is Joe Faryniarz and I am a Wildlife Biologist. My fascination with wildlife and the environments they inhabit started early in my childhood growing up in a rural Vermont. Much of my time was spent exploring the woods and coming across interesting wildlife, through hiking, hunting, fishing, and anything else you can do outdoors. I decided to pursue a career in Wildlife Biology by attending Paul Smith's College in the Adirondacks of Northern New York, where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Wildlife Sciences, and minors in Chemistry and GIS. There I received a hands-on education for a diverse set of coursework in many environmental fields including biology, ecology, forestry, chemistry, GIS/mapping, and more. Since my education, I have worked for state and federal agencies before pursuing a career in the private sector. My work experience includes conducting habitat management, wildlife surveys, banding of migratory birds, and direct management of wildlife.
